What changed, stated plainly
On 6 November 2026 we verified Blacklane's own website. Geneva no longer appears among their Swiss cities, which now list Basel and Zurich only. Their Geneva pages, English and French alike, redirect to a generic Switzerland page. Their English sitemap contains 1,775 addresses and not one mentions Geneva, while Zurich retains eight and Basel five. And their booking engine returns no available date for a Geneva Airport pickup in November or December, where the same request from Zurich Airport behaves normally.
No statement has been published and we will not speculate about a competitor's reasons. What we will say is what this means operationally. If your company held a Blacklane account that covered Geneva, that coverage needs replacing, and if you have movements booked, they need verifying directly with the platform.
Prestige Limousine Sarl operates from Rue de Geneve 107 in Thonex. We are a Geneva transport company with our own Mercedes-Benz fleet and our own employed chauffeurs, authorised under the cantonal LTVTC. There is no intermediary between the company you contract with and the person who drives your chairman.
What corporate ground transport in Geneva actually requires
Geneva is not a normal market. In a city of two hundred thousand people there are more than forty international organisations, the second largest UN office in the world, the headquarters of the WTO, the WHO, the ILO, the ITU, the ICRC and the IOC a short drive away, a private banking sector that moves clients discreetly, a commodity trading industry, and one of Europe's busiest business aviation airports. The transport requirement that follows from that is specific.
Punctuality measured against a meeting, not against traffic
A nine o'clock meeting at the Palais des Nations means being at the Pregny gate with an accreditation check completed by eight forty-five. We plan backwards from the meeting, not forwards from the pickup, and we tell you the departure time rather than asking you for one.
Access knowledge
The UN compound has several entrances with different rules. Palexpo access changes completely during the big shows. The banks on the Rue du Rhone have no standing. Cointrin's general aviation side runs on handler protocols. These are learned, not looked up, and a chauffeur who knows them saves twenty minutes that no route planner can.
Discretion as a working method
Our chauffeurs are briefed on where to be and when, not on who the passenger is, unless knowing matters. Names on boards can be a code you choose. Nothing about a movement is discussed outside the company, and our people understand that an overheard phone call in the back of a car is confidential information.
An audit trail
Finance departments need a cost centre on the invoice line, procurement needs a contract and proof of insurance, and risk needs to know the operator is licensed. All three are straightforward with us and all three are harder with an intermediated platform.
Point by point against the platform model
| Corporate requirement | Platform model | Prestige Limousine |
|---|---|---|
| Geneva coverage | Withdrawn | Primary market, full fleet |
| Contracting party | Foreign platform, local subcontractor | Swiss company, direct, no intermediary |
| Invoice | Issued abroad | Geneva company, Swiss VAT number, cost centre per line |
| Account management | Portal and support queue | A named person, reachable by direct line |
| Chauffeur continuity | Different supplier each ride | Same chauffeur assigned on request |
| Licensing | Subcontractor's responsibility | Cantonal LTVTC authorisation, company and each chauffeur |
| Insurance | Varies by supplier | Professional cover for paying passengers, certificate on request |
| FBO and private aviation | Treated as a normal airport job | Handler protocols known, airside-adjacent meeting |
| Multi-vehicle movements | Separate bookings | One coordinator, one schedule, one invoice |
| Out of hours | Support ticket | Operator on the phone, any hour |
| Price | Fixed at booking | Fixed and published, with negotiated account rates above volume |
Private aviation and FBO transfers
Geneva Airport handles one of the highest volumes of business aviation in Europe, and the general aviation terminal operates nothing like the main one. We work there routinely.
Give us the handler and the tail number at booking. We arrive ahead of the aircraft, clear the access procedure, and meet the passengers at the correct door rather than at the public terminal. For departures we deliver to the FBO entrance with enough margin for the handler's process, not the airline's. If the aircraft slips, we hold, and if it diverts, we move, because the operator is watching the movement rather than a scheduled pickup time.
During the World Economic Forum week, during the big Geneva shows and during the UN high-level weeks, Geneva's general aviation traffic multiplies and so does the demand for ground transport. Those weeks need booking early. We say this every year and every year it is true.
Corporate price list from Geneva Airport
These are our published fixed prices per vehicle, including chauffeur, fuel, all taxes, tolls, the airport access fee, meet and greet and sixty minutes of free waiting from landing. 85 destinations are listed. Account customers with regular volume are quoted on negotiated rates below these figures.
On vehicle choice for business travel: the E-Class is the standard for one or two executives with luggage. The S-Class is for board level, for anything over an hour, and for journeys where the passenger intends to work or hold a confidential call in the back. The V-Class carries a team of up to seven with equipment, or four people in facing seats for a working journey. The Sprinter moves delegations and conference groups.

Most corporate work in Geneva happens inside these twenty-two destinations. The airport to the Rue du Rhone in fifteen minutes, the airport to the Palais des Nations in twelve, the airport to Lausanne in fifty. The two we are asked about most are Palexpo, which is five minutes away and still needs planning during a show, and the UN, where the access gate depends on your accreditation.

Zurich and Basel are the two long Swiss runs that matter commercially, three and a half and three hours respectively, and for both the train is often the better answer unless you are carrying materials, travelling as a group or arriving outside service hours. We will tell you which is better for your movement.
Davos deserves separate mention. During the World Economic Forum the road access is controlled, parking is allocated and the journey from Geneva takes close to five hours. Movements that week are planned weeks in advance, with accreditation details, and we handle them as an operation rather than as a booking.

Cross-border executive transfers are a significant part of our work: Geneva to Lyon or Milan for a connection, Geneva to Annecy or Aosta for a site visit, Geneva to Monaco or Cannes for an event. Our chauffeurs and vehicles are authorised for cross-border operation and there is no surcharge for the frontier itself, only the tolls, which are already in the price.
Opening a company account
An account takes a day to set up and removes the card payment from every ride.
You tell us who may book, by name or by email domain. Bookings arrive by email or telephone with a cost centre reference, which then appears on the invoice line so finance can allocate without asking. We invoice monthly from a Geneva company with a Swiss VAT number. We hold standing instructions on file: preferred vehicle, preferred chauffeur, a specific collection point at your offices, child seats, a name to print on the board or an instruction never to print one.
For procurement we can provide the cantonal authorisation, the insurance certificate, the Swiss commercial register extract and standard terms. For security reviews we can describe chauffeur vetting and our data handling, which is simple because we keep as little as possible and share none of it.
Events, delegations and conference programmes
A single coordinator runs the whole movement: a flight manifest, a name list, a vehicle per movement, and one person at our end reachable throughout. We have run airport shuttles for conference delegations, multi-car movements for diplomatic visits, and week-long programmes where the same chauffeurs stayed with the same principals from arrival to departure, which is usually what makes the difference between a programme that works and one that merely functions.
For wedding and private events we do the same thing at a different register, with the vehicles presented accordingly.
The fleet
Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Three passengers, three cases. The default for executive travel in and around Geneva.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Three passengers in board-level comfort: reclining rear seats, individual climate, acoustic glazing that permits a confidential call at motorway speed, rear blinds. Our recommendation for any journey over an hour and for anyone who intends to arrive having worked.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class
Up to seven with luggage, or four in facing seats configured as a mobile meeting. The practical choice for teams.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Up to nineteen with a luggage compartment, for delegations and conference groups. Quoted on request.
One marque throughout, all black, all under three years old, all maintained in the official network, all registered and insured in Geneva.
Booking, payment and terms
Individual rides are booked online in under a minute with a price fixed in Swiss francs and payment by card through Stripe with 3-D Secure. Account customers book by email or telephone and are invoiced monthly. Free cancellation up to twenty four hours before pickup. Sixty minutes of free waiting at the airport from the actual landing time, fifteen minutes at an address. Ten per cent off the return leg when both legs are booked together.
